Angora is harvested humanely off of angora rabbits. It is either clipped or plucked off, and this is painless for the rabbits. The fiber is amazing in it's softness and is known to be 12 times warmer than wool! It has a beautiful sheen to it and adds a wonderful halo when blended with wool. I can be blended well with most soft fibers and looks great at 25%- 35% with other fibers. It is great to use as a carrier yarn in fair isle, bumping up the warmth factor in mittens or other items. This is a fun and enjoyable fiber to spin and knit with. Approximately 2 ounces/56 grams
