This 100% Merino roving has been pindrafted for a lovely heathered effect. The black and white has been blended for a beautiful streaky gray. Staple length is about 4 inches and spins perfectly for a true worsted yarn. It may also be spun using woolen yarn methods, or spun from the fold. This roving is perfect for felting, and yeilds a nice fabric and a lovely yarn. I found it to be a pleasure to spin. It also dyes to some highly unusual and delicate shades for a unique effect that is difficult to acheive with a plain white. Sold by the ounce (28 grams = 1 oz)
