Love the new issue!! - 2007/09/15 16:08 Just finished reading it 'cover to cover'... Having read about Beau's light problem while knitting with black yarn, I have a solution.

Just before last winter's ice storm here in MO, DH was picking up supplies for us at Wal-Mart. He found and got us each an Energizer Head Beam flashlight. They are designed to be worn around the head, and used like a miner's light. These have both white, and red light, and the light pivots so that it can be adjusted to shine right where you want it...

These proved to be invaluable, as we could use them to read, knit, fingerweave, whatever, during the long dark winter nights. I wear mine around my neck, and use it as task lighting when I'm working with a hard to see yarn, even now. And... it's a great hands free flashlight...
