You need to add 1/4 cup of vinegar, 2 gallons of water and up to one pound of fiber.
Thats what the instructions say on my bottle, hope it helps.

do i need to add vinegar to the water&dye mixture before i 'paint' my yarn/roving? the dye jars only mention adding vinegar if i am washingmachine dyeing...
