Let the frenzy begin! - 2007/07/29 21:13 Allrightee! The emails have been sent, and the fiber frenzy is on!

I'd like to apologize for how long it took to get the messages sent - my lower wisdom teeth decided that they needed to come out a few days ago, and that through a wrench in the gears. Nothing like laying around in pain to keep you from getting anything productive done

Anyhow, if you signed up and didn't get an email with your pal's info, please send us a message.

Is it just me ore don't we get the information about what our pal likes and don't like. URL to the blog, adr, the date for shipping? And since the rules have been taken away, was it something with two pals?

Just have to ask, since I have short memory for the time

Re:Let the frenzy begin! - 2007/07/30 08:31 By now you should have received a message (or more than one if you signed up for more than one swap) with your pal's info.

Here's how it works. You get an email with your pal's info - their name, email, address, website, likes/dislikes, etc. You should contact your pal. If you want to be a "secret pal" then contact them using an email address that's not connected to your blog site, or otherwise hides your identity. If you and your pal don't want to keep things secret, that's ok too.

Somebody else will get an email listing you as their pal. They will have all of your info. They will contact you and the two of you can decide to be secret or not.

The fiber frenzy has two "swaps". For the first one, you will SEND a gift to the pal you got an email about. You will RECEIVE a gift from the person who got an email about you. The second "swap" is a "thank you" swap. You will RECEIVE a gift from the person you sent one to, and you will SEND a gift to the person you received one from.

Any questions? Is that all clear as mud? It sounded like a great way to do the swap when we came up with it, but I admit it's a little complicated to explain in writing. Let us know what you think of the system, and let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Ok, I think I have understand with the two pal

Allena also have explain it before

But in the email I got, it is just the name and email adr. that was of information. Nothing about the address, website, likes/dislikes etc.? And most important of all, when are the deadline to send out the packets?

I manually re-sent your pal matchups to you, so if you do not get them right this time let me know.

Also, if anybody else got emails that didn't include the info you thought it should, please let me know and I'll re-send it to you (beau at spindle and wheel dot com).
