Wow what lovely vibrant colors! I'm spinning something similar now but I think my is a bit thinner. It looks really soft too! Don't you just love the BFL fiber. Hat and mittens or hat and a neck warmer would propably be wonderful. Theres lots of hat patterns around but for kids i like them simple just 1k 1p ribbing all the way. And maybe some ear patches too. The neck warmer i think is better than scarves for kids you just work 1k 1p ribbing around the same vay as the hat and then when it's long enough you knit it in two parts so that it forms a flap in the back and front to put under the coat so it stays put.
