Felted Soap - 2007/07/01 14:34 I've been meaning to try this for ages and then Allena's article turned up just when I was looking for something new to try.

My first attempt took a while - of course I want to be an expert at everything immediately lol - but I got it sorted in the end.

I had some trouble getting the overlapped bit to stick together but I pulled off the first mess and started again with a bit less fibre - I think it made a difference not having too much bulk to deal with.

I can't wait to do another one!

Re:Felted Soap - 2007/07/05 13:07 Looking good!

If you're having problems with this method, use LESS water and heat it up in the microwave when it cools down (unless you're using a melt & pour soap - then you will have a mess if you heat it up!)

Re:Felted Soap - 2007/09/09 09:36 Oh This I really wnat to try. Maybe this is what I do with the kids this year. We always craft something for them to give as gifts to grandparents and aunts and uncles.
