Re:Favorite Gadget - 2007/06/24 19:22 I thing there are gadgets that you can buy that will allow you to do this. Also my drill goes up to 3/4, and some do go to the full inch. I guess you could make one from an old serger cone. Not so pretty, but useful.

You could also use a hand planer, although it takes some practice to master.

I would guess it would be easiest to buy one, since they aren't so expensive. I wind my balls on a toilet paper tube when I don't want to use the winder. LOL I am a little too thrifty sometimes.
If you fall off, get back on and try again.

Re:Favorite Gadget - 2007/07/24 14:13 I live in the country that claims they created the nostepinne or nøstepinne as we say, what country you say, Norway of cource. I however dont have a nostepinne. I have been looking in all the antique shops I pass but they seem hard to find. I suppose I have to make one, and a WPI tool as I'm at it.

Re:Favorite Gadget - 2007/08/24 16:58 You know what? I went to a kitchen utensils store one day and there my eyes caught a sight of something like a nøstepinde. It was really used to make some kind of cookies but it works fine for a nøstepinne...
