 This is weird - 2008/03/29 18:16 I did drink mix experiments years ago and a lot of the flavors came out pink. Including Root Beer. It seems to be the color they are all based on. I haven't used the Wilton dyes yet, I will try them, but I went to acid or fiber reactive dyes for my own use. I'll only use the food safe ones if I'm working with younger kids.

 Re:This is weird - 2008/03/30 20:32 One of the problems you may run into with food safe dyes is that they absorb in different rates. The red tends to absorb more quickly, so if you dye something with purple food color, it comes out pink because it doesn't absorb as much of the blue.
