ABBREVIATED LANGUAGE IN KNITTING - 2007/06/28 04:24 I'm sure its not new to you, but I am coming across cryptic abbreviations for certain terms in knitting. Some of them I know but there are more that I do not understand. Is there a list or site that has them all grouped together with a translation? Thanks, from IMHO, LYS, IIR, DH, TTFN. ???? Help!

Re:ABBREVIATED LANGUAGE IN KNITTING - 2007/06/28 08:57 Most of these are internet acronyms people use for chatting.

LYS local yarn store
IMHO - in my humble opinion
IIR ?
DH - Dear Husband
TTFN - Ta Ta For Now

So you might do better with an internet lingo acronym page lol
