No power, no phone, no internet
Hi everyone - just a little note to tell you we’re not ignoring you, it’s just the time of year for ice storms in Missouri. Consequently, we have no power, no internet connection, and no phone at our house. We’re staying warm with a kerosene heater, but other than that things are pretty primitive around our house just now. We should be back online in a few days.
Stay warm! Unless your in the Southern hemisphere, in which case, um…stay cool I guess

I’m glad your power’s back. I hate it when ours is out, and we’re better set up for it than most people.

We now have our internet back (at home), however we’re expecting snow tonight and tomorrow, so it may not last. According to the support technician the problem we’re experiencing may be related to the cold. We’re having an on-site technician out sometime next week, so we may only have our internet intermittently when the weather is above freezing.

I hope you have a cosy time with candles and all when you power is out. It does make everything a bit more complicated though. But at least knitting and spinning doesnt require electrisity. Its cold here too, but no power outs and now I’m back online too…
