Morning sickness is such a joy, especially when it decides to travel out of just morning. Anyway love the idea for the fingerless gloves for your paramedic friend. I wouldn't have thought of that.

Really enjoyed this month's issue. I've been eyeing that scarf of Jared's for a while and now I *must* knit it.

I hope the morning sickness goes away real soon! Don't worry about us, just take care of yourself.

I agree, gloves are a great little project and so appreciated, too. I usually knit mine on dpns all the way up. When people goggle at me with all my little pointy sticks, I tell them that I'm wrestling a porcupine. Then I explain that it isn't that difficult, what with only actually working on two needles at a time.

I do hope your tum settles down soon. Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas.

I DO hope you don't think putting up the same post twice counts as two posts, morning sick or not! Hee!

I don't do gloves either, but I can do lacy fingerless mitts -- easy-peesy! The thought of knitting FINGERS in gloves is enough to give me a headache. I suppose you do them on DPs . . . and they look like a baby porpupine?

You know, any state that can get as hot and humid as Missouri has no right to get that cold....

Sorry that you've been feeling icky - hopefully things will perk up over the holiday season!

It's very nice of you to knit warm things for your paramedic friend -- I also know an emergency worker, maybe find gloves are just what she needs too... I haven't knit gloves yet, but after seeing this neat idea for i-cord fingers (http://nonaknits.typepad.com/nonaknits/2005/10/icord_gloves_1s.html) I'm itching to try some out!

That's very kind of you to make the headband and mitts (and socks!) for your friend. I'm sure she, and all the people she helps, appreciate it!

Hope you feel better soon...
