I usually knit mine on dpns all the way up. When people goggle at me with all my little pointy sticks, I tell them that I'm wrestling a porcupine. Then I explain that it isn't that difficult, what with only actually working on two needles at a time. I do hope your tum settles down soon. Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas.
